Yes. Free groups cost nothing and include real-time chat, channels, roles, file sharing, search, and unlimited members. Paid groups add built-in subscriptions for a 6% platform fee plus Stripe processing.
How do paid groups work?
You set a price. Members subscribe through Stripe, and access turns on automatically. Groupanda takes a 6% platform fee from each subscription, plus standard Stripe processing, so there are no monthly charges and no per-member fees. Payouts are handled by Stripe Connect.
