  • Give each topic its own channel. Reply in a thread to keep the channel clear, or quote the message you're answering.

  • Share photos (up to 10 per message), documents up to 10 MB, and voice messages up to 2 minutes.

  • Pin the messages that matter, so newcomers find them first.

  • Search the whole group at once: messages in every channel you can read, plus channels and members. Narrow it to one channel when you need to.

  • Mention people and channels, and react to keep the back and forth quick.

  • Message anyone one to one with direct messages.

Membership and payments, built in

Charge for access without a separate membership tool. Members pay, access turns on by itself, and you never touch a spreadsheet.

  • Create up to 5 plans. Each one is either a monthly subscription (with an optional yearly price) or a one-time payment. Members pay through Stripe in the browser.
  • Members get access the moment they pay. If a subscription's payments stop, access lasts until the end of the paid period. A one-time payment doesn't renew.
  • Keep some channels open to every member, and limit others to the plans you choose.
  • Receive payouts through Stripe Connect. Members on a subscription get their own portal for cards and invoices.
  • See every member's plan and payment status in one list, and filter it or export it to CSV. Check your balance in the app, and find the full payment history in your Stripe dashboard.

You decide who is in, and who can do what

Control without micromanaging. Set roles, limit channels to the plans you choose, and let admins carry the load.

  • Set how people join: open, by invitation (the group's invite link), or after approval.
  • Keep roles simple: one owner, admins and members.
  • Choose who can post in each channel: the owner, the owner and admins, or everyone.
  • Ban or mute members, and delete messages, when you need to.

Keep your people coming back

A community lives on the daily habit. Notifications bring people back, and the same workspace is on every device they use.

  • Reach members with push notifications they control, including quiet hours.
  • Create events with a date, a place and an optional attendee limit. Members answer Going or Can't go, and everyone who answered Going gets a reminder before the event starts.
  • Give everyone the same workspace on web, iOS, and Android.
  • See who is around and, in direct messages, whether your message was read.
  • Help members find people they already know in the iOS and Android apps, with no phone number shown to anyone.

What does Groupanda cost?

Groupanda is free to use, with no member limit and no charge per member. On a paid group the member pays the price you set. Out of that payment, Groupanda keeps a 6% platform fee. Stripe's processing fee is deducted from your payout. Nothing is added on top of what the member pays, and there is no monthly charge. Stripe Connect pays out to the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein, Canada, and Switzerland.

Feature questions

Can I have private channels?

Yes, once your group has at least one plan. Limit a channel to the plans you choose, or to admins only. Other members see its name with a lock. The owner and admins always see every channel.

Does it have voice messages and file sharing?

Yes. Send photos (up to 10 per message), documents up to 10 MB, and voice messages up to 2 minutes. They work in direct messages and in any channel where you can post.

Can I keep some channels free and others paid?

Yes. Keep some channels open to every member, and limit others to the plans you choose. A group can offer up to 5 plans, side by side, and each plan opens its channels.
