The workspace for private communities
Get your community up and running in minutes
Getting started with Groupanda is simple: create a workspace, invite your people, and turn on paid access when you are ready. No migration project.
Create your workspace
Give your community a name and a description. This is the home everything else lives in.

Fernhallow Home Cooks
Home cooks swapping recipes, kitchen tips and photos of what we made this week.

Set up your channels
Your group starts with five channels, and you can add more for your own topics. Members reply in a thread or with a quote, so the context never gets lost. New members see a clear structure, not a wall of messages.

Bring your people in
Share your group's invite link, and people join right away, or first buy a plan where joining requires one. If you choose approval, each person joins once you accept their request. Members see every channel open to all members, plus the channels of any plan they buy.

Set roles and privacy
Decide who is an admin, and choose who can post in each channel: the owner, the owner and admins, or everyone. You delegate without losing control. Only members see the conversations.

Turn on paid access, if you want
Set a price, and members pay through Stripe. Access starts as soon as they pay. A subscription can be billed monthly or yearly. If its payments stop, access lasts until the end of the paid period. A one-time payment doesn't renew. Keep some channels open to every member, and limit others to the plans you choose.

PricingManage your group's payments.
2/5Add planFree joining decides who can get in: when it's on, joining costs nothing (your approval setting still applies); when it's off, joining requires buying one of your plans. Plans also unlock the channels you assign to them in Channels. You can change this anytime.
Free joiningJoining is free, no plan needed. Your approval setting in Group access still applies.

Then keep your people close
Notifications bring members back, and your channels and messages are the same on web, iOS, and Android. The daily habit is what keeps it alive.

What it looks like for your members
Your members get a group chat they already know how to use. They join with a link and see the channels they have access to. In a paid group, they buy a plan in the browser, and the mobile apps send them there. No accounts to juggle, no learning curve.

Is a cast iron pan worth it in a small kitchen?

Yes. One good pan does most of the work.

Too much rhubarb in my garden this week. Anyone want some?
Hana Kim08:47
Me please! I can bring a jar of jam in return.
Arthur Penhale08:55
Spare jars by my door if anyone needs them.

Setup questions
How long does setup take?
A few minutes. Create a workspace, add a channel or two, and share an invite link.
Can I start free and add paid access later?
Yes. Run a free community for as long as you like, and turn on paid groups whenever it makes sense. Stripe Connect pays out to the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Norway, Liechtenstein, Canada, and Switzerland.
Do my members need the app?
They can use Groupanda on the web or install the iOS or Android app. Channels and messages are the same everywhere. In a paid group, they buy a plan in the browser, and the mobile apps send them there.
